Review summary

The first night was really bad. We had extreme rocking back & forth of the ship. I usually do not have to take Dramamine but I did this time. The rocky trip lasted several days, don't know if it was just our floor (deck 5) or if other floors were also experiencing this. I heard numerous guest complaining. I had preordered sprite and water. We did not get them until late that night. The night before our first excursion, we put out the room service order for breakfast the next morning. IT NEVER CAME!!!! We had wanted room service so we wouldn't be late getting downstairs that morning. Needless to say, we were rushed having to go eat breakfast. Next, our excursion had been rescheduled due to the ship getting into port late. Not just by minutes but by 4.5 hours. Was not happy about this. We also had trouble with the toilet flushing. Sometimes it would and sometimes it wouldn't. Reported it-no one ever came to check. If they did it wasn't fixed....In all we were very disappointed with this cruise and the SUNSHINE ship. We will probably be checking out Norwegian cruise line for our next trip. They offer more perks with their cruises for about the same prices.

Disappointed with the fact we did not get our room service. (Had selection on the door handle in plenty of time)

The sunshine really needs a makeover. Bathrooms throughout the ship were not as clean as other ships we have been on. There were a lot of flies around the food lines also.

Cabin / Stateroom

This room is right next to a maintenance closet and we heard banging and bumping in there at all hours of the night. If I had known it was next door I would have selected another room. Maybe this needs to be on the room selection verbiage.
