Review summary

I was a little disappointed in the size of the ship, there was very little seating in the "Lounge" and theater areas for as many people were on the ship. Even when the weather was good, there was a lot of motion felt on the ship as compared to other ships we have been on. Great variety of food options, not so much variety in entertainment options especially the two days the weather rendered it necessary to stay inside most of the time. This is the third Carnival ship we have been on and though it was decorated nicer than the previous two, it is smaller. On the other two ships you didn't have to walk right through the middle of the casino as they were bigger and there was lounge/hall area on the sides to walk passed without getting all the smoke. There were too many people for the size of the space on the ship.

While there was great variety, the service in the dining room was slow and unpersonal, especially for breakfast. I ordered oatmeal with toast and bacon, I got my oatmeal right away and then 20 min later my toast and bacon. (3 days this happened) One day I got my oatmeal, 20 min later my bacon and never did get my toast.

N/A except for the number of children running loose on the ship indicates that the children were not well entertained in their programs

Service and Staff

Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful with the exception of some of the dining staff in the morning. We did have an excellent waiter for dinner (Conrado).

Cabin / Stateroom

Love the size and the window view very nice clean room, not to fond of the location. Being on the lowest level at the very back of the boat you experience all of the engine noises as well as a lot of motion.

Ship tip

Guys burgers, Blue Iguana (mexican) and the Asian (mongolian) grill are all great places. If you have issues with motion sickness or smoke allergies this is not the ship for you.
