Review summary

Went on ship sunshine, is old, rooms are tiny,food was horribe,went to dinner 2x and both times food cold, back in the day you looked foward to having a great dinner trying things you would not normally try like lobster well now if you want to you have to pay additional fee of 20.00. I thought that was included in your price what the hell are we paying over 4000. for 5 people for? Not for nassau and freeport that for sure. Food on buffet was horrible, the only bright spot was Guys burger joint, they were FANTASTIC dont miss one of them, our cruise director emma was great!! Shows were so so, the punchliner was funny they did 4 shows 1 pg 3 r rated wish they made it equal 2 and 2.The outside movies were not runnng, kids really disappointed, pool is really small, Ive had friendlier staff on other cruises, they dont seem to care. Debarkcation was a night mare. I will not go on another carnival cruise again, think im going to try royal caribbean or do disney again they were awesome

Cabins on all ships are small, don't use that as a excuse, open the wallet and get a suit. And check the menu before going to dinner, the food is just fine. Enjoy your royal Caribbean trip the cabins are even smaller, go by from all of us who love carnival, we won't miss you. ð

We have sailed on the Sunshine 3 times and have another cruise booked on her in September 2018 . Have absolutely NO complaints !!! She was refitted 2 or 3 years ago and was in excellent condition . We have done 2 Disney cruises with our children and grandchildren and the adults all prefer Carnival . You cannot beat the value , we have never had a complaint about a single crew member in 11 Carnival cruises !!! Disney is nice but why pay the same for a 3 day cruise with them when you can do 7 or 8 days for the same price ? We hear complaints all the time but never have had a reason to voice , or even think about , one ourselves . I hate that someone did not enjoy their vacation,,,, but sometimes if you don't have something nice to say maybe you shouldn't say anything at all !

I agree with moondog73 completely. We just returned from our first 8 day Western Caribbean cruise in the Sunshine & all I can say is that it was awesome!!! The staff was great, always smiling & very attentive. One of the many highlights of our cruise staff was our server in the Sunset dining room Jose. He was absolutely amazing & from day one made us feel at home. Thanks Jose hope to see you again!! Please don't hesitate cruise on the Carnival Sunshine. You won't be disappointed!!!

I just got off the Sunshine and find all her complaints unfounded. maybe do some research next time. never saw one crewmember not smiling and saying hello.

Thank you for your honest opinion. I am on the Sunshine in October. I love Royal and Celebrity so far. we shall see...I truly want to do Seaborn or Crystal.

Love the Sunshine!! So many different places to eat. So much to do!!! 3 story adult only serenity area!!! Even your picture looks unhappy!!!!
