Great Anniversary Trip

This trip was an anniversary present for my wife. We had never left out of Port Canaveral and had never been to any of the ports of call so this was a highly anticipated cruise. This was also the first time we had stayed in an aft balcony. My only negative for the cruise would be: When we first got to our room and went out on the aft balcony, there was black soot on everything. We are assuming this came from the exhaust of the ship. We had to deal with that for a day until the second day when they cleaned the balconies. We didn't notice any additional soot the rest of the trip.

Emma was wonderful. So full of energy!!!

We had felt on our last cruise that the Carnival food quality had fallen off a bit, but the food on this cruise was excellent. At least everything I ate. We also ate at the 555 Steakhouse for the first time and that meal was fantastic. I had the filet.

The shows were new to us so we enjoyed them!

Loved the Serenity Deck. Much larger than on other ships and the views from the top decks are awesome and relaxing. Very top deck was closed one day due to high winds. Also enjoyed the serenity pool. That's a great bonus plus having your own bar was great. Bartenders there were exceptional. Especially Kutu. I hope I spelled that right.

Siti was our Steward and she was very nice. Our waiter in the dining room was Made. Andy was one of his helpers and they always did a fantastic job taking care of us.

Love the layout up on the very back of the Lido deck which is called the Havana Bar. Such a great place to hang out and relax. Lots of people loved to play cards back there. The view out the back of the boat is incredible.

Other than the soot and the casino getting $100 out of me, we had an absolute awesome time!!
