Review summary

Never got the $50.00 cabin credit I was promised.  What's up with that?  What more can I say, I want the money that was promised.  Not impressed with any outfit that promises something that they do not deliver.  Talked to the Carnival office and they checked the computer and said that they found nothing about a credit to be put onto my charges.

Our onboard credit has always showed up online with all the other stuff in the online checkin things.

To get your on board credit you have to claim on the ship or at least we did.

I usually book directly thru carnival and they are always there to answer any questions

This last cruise I pre ordered cases of water and took my order confirmation email. There was problems and I took them to guest services.

I always either book online directly with carnival or through pvp. Then always have everything in writing and take hard copies with me. So I have some thing to back up if I need to go to guest services.

Yes, rogerellenborland is correct, I always get an email. And my $50 on board credit showed on my email. I booked early saver and was eligible for a price drop which I chose to take and lost my on board credit but it was worth it and it was my choice. And I received a new email with every change and every payment showing all the updates.

I always book directly with my PvP at carnival. I always get a e mail from her right away showing exactly what she told me. I don't know who you used but you should have gotten the same thing.

I've always booked my own directly with Carnival. They've always been very helpful.

my agent said from day one if you want to know anything done he's to call...lol. well I've called her a few times because I know nothing about cruising. I'm finding things out on my own and then call her to confirm. at this point I feel like I really didn't need her.

Some travel agents r in it for themselves. .if u ever need another agent I know n am working on my next cruise with her for July ..my regular guy I was unhappy with after 2 cruises booked through him. Wally

evy, I agree about the travel agent. I went through a travel agent and I'm finding things out a lot of things on my own. I wasn't even aware of when my payments were.

I'm going on my first cruise in December. I just found out that I have to apply for my 50.00 credit no later than 21 days before the cruise. I just found that out by dumb luck. did you do anything on line before you printed out your documents?
