Review summary

The cruise ship I understand was remodeled, but the layout of the dining rooms is not good. You have to go to deck 5, walk thru the casino, then take elevator back down to get to the dining room. The pizza and hamburgers were really good, the steakhouse was great, the buffets were adequate, but nothing outstanding about the buffet lines. Entertainment was a real letdown. No great shows. Seemed like comedy acts were it, unless you went to the bars for music. Adult pool and spa were good, other pool was small and packed out. Probably would not cruise the Sunshine again. Sorry, Carnival, 8 days was too much time on ship with little entertainment except in the casino.

Really small, also had a handicapped scooter with no where to park it except by bathroom door.

taken three 8 day cruises on the Sunshine and I enjoyed every moment of it. if you have a sour attitude then u are gonna have a sour time

October 31st will be our 2nd cruise on the sunshine. we love the steakhouse on the ship and we are taking 5 first time cruisers with us. can't wait!

There ya go gellmore, we were busy Kleerup until bedtime. we did not get in bed any morning until 2 a.m. and we did very little drinking. There was always something going on.

Alot of the carnival ships have this layout.... I like taking a stroll through the casino before dinner !

Sunshine is a wonderful ship. Don 't let one naysayer spoil it for you. There is so much to do and so many different options for food. If you don 't have a great time it is your own fault!!!!!!
