Review summary

All and all it was a very pleasant trip. The cabins were comfortable and clean. Workers were very friendly and helpful. The ports of call where not the best except for half moon cay. The drink package is worth it if you plan on drinking at least 6-7 drinks a day it pays for itself, but it's not valid on half moon cay which makes no sense since its carnivals private island. The cruise director was not the greatest. The food was great and we had a really nice time.

Sunshine was okay, we made it positive, we have been on many carnival cruises and think the bigger boats are nice on rooms and entertainment areas but, Sunshine had lots of water areas where the other boats don't and a huge adults area only too, which was nice. We just got back from an 8 day cruise and had a great time. It was nice, just smaller.

reginaadkins78, what are the "better ones" in your opinion? We have sailed on the Sunshine and really enjoyed it.

no donkey is the cruise director...I just got off this boat today, I have sailed the Sunshine twice and in my opinion it's a miserable boat...I take about 3-4 cruises a year and I've been on better ones

My family and I have sailed the Sunshine twice and enjoyed it both times. Is Jamie still the Cruise Director. She was always great and full of energy.
