A: On carnivals website it recommends one bag per person on 5 days or less and two bags per person on longer trips. You can either check you luggage with the porter before you park or take all your luggage on. It's easier to check your luggage than drag... it around until your cabin is ready.See More

A: If you get the WiFi package, it should work almost everywhere on the ship. (The WiFi is not great.)The Carnival App will work even if a WiFi package is not purchased.

A: you can get one bottle of gin/vodka/rum etc. with a 6 pack of a mixer for about $100. pricey compared to a land bar, but a bargain compared to drinks at a bar on board.

Q: Currently have an 8k balcony booked on deck 5, didn’t take in to consideration the casino being nearby. With children debating on changing, what room and/or deck do you recommend for a family of 4?

A: The casino is actually not that close. Ocean plaza/Java Blue actually right nearby. Ocean plaza has a small breakfast spread in the am if you don’t want to deal with the crowds from lido. You can avoid the casino by just going up or down 1 deck from... the rear staircase/elevators. I will tell you the arcade/wharehpuse is right next to the casino.See More

Q: I’m cruising by myself but I have to pay like there’s someone in my cabin with me. Will I get double VIFP points since I’m paying for 2 people? I know Royal Caribbean will but this is my 1st Carnival cruise so I don’t know about them.

A: I’ve wondered myself if you could just book 2 people, so someone else gets points as well even though you are traveling alone. At least someone gets something out of it!
Answered by landlockedntexas on March 22, 2022
A: No not on carnival. Other cruise lines do but carnival does not follow this. It’s kind of annoying. Other r lines also do double points for suites.

A: Boarding pass, COVID test results if necessary, has card if necessary, credit card you are using on ship. CCL will send you an email about what you need. Don't forget to print out your luggage tags for your checked luggage. Blessed cruise!

A: if you dont have a passport you will need birth certificate and matching ID. if you've changed your name you may need paperwork for that(my wife was told to bring her paperwork just in case they didn't ask for it though). and you will need your covid... vaccine card and negative test results within 2 days of boardingSee More
Answered by dp6006 on January 23, 2022
A: If you don't have a passport and are bringing a birth certificate. It has to have the raised stamped seal. It can not be just a copy. Before we got our passports we had to request by mail our birth certificate. Everything is much easier with a pa... ssport.See More

A: It is a program for a fee that allows you priority boarding for your cruise (embarcation) and getting off (debarkation) after VIP cruisers. You also gets little perks during the cruise such as a dedicated line at guest services. The fee is based on t... he length of the cruise and room type. It is charged only to one person but everyone in your cabin benefits. I thought it was worth it due to the number of folks on our cruise. There were over 3000. There are only a few of these sold per cruise.See More
