Worst cruise ever. We will not ever cruise Carnival again.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Main dining room service was nice, food was very poor.
Onboard Activities

mini golf, course is clearly an after thought. Karaoke & trivia, over run with drunks and service was solely for those buying alcoholic drinks. Spa -- one attendant was lovely, the rest of the folks were like prison wardens. Despite us being on the spa floor, because the spa is tiny, we could barley get in to the saunas, etc. And, every time we went in there it was as if the attendants had no idea who we were.
Entertainment

Shows -- we went to two -- they were terrible. Some of the performers seems disinterested.
And, the Soul show was like a like a bad parody.
Service and Staff

Our cabin attendant was nice, but the bed we had for my 16 year old son, was like a toddler bed -- I'm 5" tall and even I was too long for the second bed in the room. Awful.
Ship Quality

Drunks spilling drinks everywhere.
Cabin / Stateroom

King bed was nice -- extra bed in the room was suited to a toddler -- not a 16 year old boy (as listed in my reservation). Fixtures were old, bathroom floor squeaked when walked on -- shower was small, water pressure was terrible.
This is a joke -- just another opportunity for Carnival to make more money on drinkers. Oh, and arrive in port late -- leave on time (which shorts the guests the time off ship), and it takes more than 4 hours to get off (and we weren't even the highest numbers) -- leaving only two hours on shore. Unaccpetable.
Would have loved to go to Bimini, except we allegedly couldn't dock there due to weather. Lack of information to passengers and pre-planning on the part of the cruise line ruined this -- we could have stayed an extra day in Nassau. But, no, another opportunity for the cruise line to charge for drinks and gambling, by keeping us on the boat!
This was the most efficient process of the entire cruise -- no where to sit and wait -- thrown out of our room -- pushed off the boat, so Carnival could flip it quick for next guests.
I just got off the Sunrise and I enjoyed it. I am not a drinker. Had maybe 5 total drinks that I never finished. Didn't see alot of drunks. Soooo. Maybe next you should join them. Lighten up
The review made me chuckle. This person must be a great spouse. Happy go lucky person... not. Please cruise with Celebrity.....no, maybe Virgin Cruises.
Why do people do absolutely no research before they cruise, then complain about everything when they return? It’s very easy to find photos and videos of the cabins online to see the size of the additional berths. Tip - never put more than 2 people over 12 in a cabin unless it’s a large suite with more than 2 standard beds. The restaurants onboard are listed online, so that should not have been a surprise.
I Cruise different cruise lines for different reasons. I have enjoyed sailing with carnival in the past and will continue to sail in the future. Be aware cheap short sailings tend to be party cruises. Cruising may not be for you. In closing I tend to see a number of negative reviews by people with no cruise history
I love how the ship quality didn't matter it was just that "drunks spilling drinks everywhere"
Sorry you didn't enjoy it, but it really does help to do your research before you book
You chose Carnival cruise line for a reason. Many choose it for the party atmosphere, so why were you surprised about the behavior of the folk who like to party? Maybe a bit more research would have prevented your bad experience.
Half moon cay is paradise. They wouldn't know they had an issue in Bimini until the time to dock. Its not simple to just stay somewhere longer. Ports have schedules and workers that need coordination. 1102 is the cheapest cabin on the ship. Your expectations should have been managed.
