Review summary

I would rate this cruise as average. I can’t say enough great things about all of the staff but everything else was average. Cruising during covid added a few extra challenges but overall it didn’t effect the experience much. We still had a good time despite Covid precautions. The ship was clean and there were no safety concerns. We had a great trip!

The food was not the best I have had on a cruise. The service was amazing and if it had not been for our waiting team, we would have gone elsewhere for our dinner. Drinks were weak and expensive but I think we expected that going in.

Tre was our room steward and he was amazing. Our room was always clean and he was always there to address our needs. Our dining room service team included Gede, Chriz ans Yuliyanto and they were amazing! Our food was always provided in a timely manner and our needs were always addressed with a smile. The best part of the ship was the staff!

5 starts for cleanliness all around! We always saw someone cleaning and appreciated the reminders to wash hands and wear our masks.

Cabin / Stateroom

This was my first time cruising with a balcony cabin and I don’t think I will ever go back to an interior cabin. The balcony was great to have some quiet time away from people and the room layout makes sense. More than enough room for 2 people for the amount of time.

Ship tip

Get a balcony cabin and the drinks are weak.

We did a reef snorkel trip and had a great time. It was not too crowded and the guides were knowledgeable and had the appropriate equipment.

We went to Blue Lagoon and did the VIP Beach excursion. The VIP Beach excursion was great and much less crowded that the rest of the island!

We did the Sapona Shipwreck Snorkeling excursion and we were pretty dissatisfied. There was not enough snorkel vests for everyone and would not let you snorkel without one. There was just too many people on the boat. This was probably due to our Reef Shark Snorkel excursion being canceled due to weather but there still should have been enough vests for everyone to participate on the recommended back up excursion.
