No, MrsRJ811 Unfortunately, the other person does not sound stupid and is correct about the carnival cruise line not having a very high bar. I don’t know that I would compare it to Walmart but in the scheme of things Carnival is like the Allegiant Airlines of Cruise vacationing. It is cheap & adequate which is okay, if that is what you like. I take short and inexpensive “girlfriend” jaunts on carnival which come in handy but I know what I’m getting and so My expectations are not so high as to cause me to complain about them. It is what it is... when I want excellent service and a more mature experience I cruise higher priced and higher quality lines. At the end of the day... It’s all a matter of preference.

Agree with Herbert1. Nothing wrong with Walmart and nothing wrong with Carnival.

I have never had a bad experience on Carnival. Have three more cruises booked and plan to have a good time. Btw...to the person commenting stating Carnival is the Walmart of the Seas, I've never stepped foot in a Walmart. You sound stupid.

Sometimes we get back what we serve. We have never received bad/ questionable service and attention from CCL.

My theory is you get what you pay for. Carnival is the walmart of cruises. Personally I think it's a great bang for your buck. You want the bar raised you pay more for each level you raise it.

We have found Carnival did not meet our expectations either. We have sailed Royal our last 3 voyages. Our next is booked with them also. Royal is definitely a step up in my opinion.
