Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Awesome assortment of various offerings. Lucky Bowl is a nice addition. The walkways between the Lido deck to get into the buffet/eating areas are narrow/can get congested as they put drink stations and self serve ice cream there as well. Just be a little patient.

Chris the Flying Scotsman is always great. We enjoyed the violin players in the lobby.

Ship Quality

The ship was very clean. The atrium was pretty, but definitely on the small side. We missed not having an Ocean Plaza onboard. This ship boasts the largest Red Frog pub at sea and had a stage where they had entertainment usually found at Ocean Plaza. We did not enjoy the water park placement as much as some of the other ships. Water slide entrance was right next to Serenity deck. 🙁 The water park on it’s sister ship the Sunshine was on the aft and that was nice. You can find games at the coffee shop, but it is so small, you’ll probably have to go elsewhere to play them. We used the buffet eating area tables up on Lido. Sadly no library to play games. There weren’t as many general congregating areas as on other ships.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had a lovely ocean view cabin for 5. It was not as crowded as anticipated. Nicest 5 person cabin layout out of the several we’ve had. Our cabin was on deck 1. I was a little leery of being on the lowest deck but it was awesome. Being close to the water looked cool and we will definitely book an ocean view on Deck 1 again.
