Had a great time sailing on carnival sunrise, definitely recommended.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We arrived 1 hour before our scheduled time, they boarded us with no issues or wait. Also they confiscate water bottles that you try and bring on board the ship at this port, which wasn't a problem for us, for we where awear of this policy before hand.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Had heard mixed reviews about the food on here, but the food and drinks were amazing as always. I especially loved the food at lucky bowl, and never a line. Lido buffet was a bit tight to walk through to get food and also around blue iguana cantina, but these didn't effect my experience onboard, I will say carnival did a great job fitting all the new venues on a older ship, very pleased.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Lots to do onboard, tons of trivia and they had the ship decorated for the holidays, and had holiday activities like singing xmas carols, ugly sweater contest, a mailbox for letters to Santa, and much more.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The shows were great! The cruise director Chris The Flying Scottsman made the cruise amazing, as well as Ally Cat and Eddie Spaghetti both were hilarious!

Ship Quality
5 out of 5
No issues here, ship was very clean and smelled new. The only thing that happened which I've heard has happened as well, was that there was a poop smell coming from the bathroom floor drain, we ignored it because we were on vacation and we were hardly in the room, but it went away after 2 days. Also water pressure of our cabin bathroom sink was non existent, very slow/ weak stream of water output.
Cabin / Stateroom

Constantine and Irish our cabin stewards were great. They always had everything we needed available, even things we didn't ask for, like extra towels and shampoos.
Ship tip
Just enjoy yourself and the ship, remember you're on vacation it's going to be what you make it, let yourself have fun.
Just had a beach day here. Rented a clamshell for $29.99 and snorkeled the rest of the day. They had a lunch buffet included with your time on the island, very good food. They had more activities for people who wanted to do more like tug of war, sand castle building contest and a beach dance party with music.
Did an excursion in this port, catermran sail and snorkel. Great excursion, definitely will be doing it again. Almost 1hour and 30mins of snorkel time followed by free rum punch and then free time to shop at the straw market.
Took a taxi to The Cloister, must see on paradise island. Then we spend the rest of the day in Atlantis walking through the aquarium and just taking pictures of the beautiful outside property.
