Wonderful, exciting, enjoyable cruise aboard the Sunrise ship! I would even cruise on this ship again! That is how much we loved and enjoyed our time/memories here. The décor and Christmas decorations were fabulous and it really felt like a great crowd of people on board. There is plenty to do and we loved the options. We have zero complaints as our experience was exactly what we intended: #choosefun!

Fast and efficient! No waiting whatsover! Best experience and Passport made it even quicker. Did not need to use FTF either!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

The main dining room (Radiance) was beautiful! We sat at table #124 which has a beautiful window view. We loved late dining (8:15pm). Perfect for us to enjoy all activities, eat a late lunch, and then go to our room to get dressed for dinner. Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse was remarkable! Exceeded our expectations! Go for the experience and the food. Delicious meal and gracious wait staff with top-notch service! Well worth the extra price! We are still savoring the memory!
Onboard Activities

Enjoyed karaoke events (there were plenty!) Had a ball in Red Frog Pub where we participated in Christmas trivia, General Trivia, Super Hero Trivia and a Michaels crafting event (Christmas card making). The sail away party was so much fun! Watched 2 different Dive In Movies late night and sun down. Great time! It seemed like everyone was happy and excited! Great feeling!
Entertainment

Stage shows were fabulous! DJ OJ and CIA Rockband was great! Great selection of live music and party music at both Limelight lounge and Red Frog Pub stage. The Electric violinists were amazing! This was a 3 girl trio and they played multiple times in the Sunrise Lobby! Perfect and very enjoyable tunes! The comedy was also good. Tommy Drake was the punchliner and we enjoyed his X-Rated comedy (we're grown so why not!)
Children's Programs
NO KIDDOS! Cannot speak on this except to say, "I saw all children smiling and having fun!"
Service and Staff

Waiters were funny, pleasant, added flavor to our meal times. Room steward Christopher was attentive and kept our room clean and always had a smile when we met. Whenever we passed ship personnel on the Sunrise, they were pleasant, greeted us with a smile, and most would ask how was our day/evening. No complaints whatsoever
Ship Quality

The ship was very clean. I saw nothing out of the ordinary as far as cleanliness; well maintained in my opinion. The layout and design were confusing to us; but that is because we did not understand (aft/mid/front) when it came to where restaurants or certain bars were. It is NOTHING to complain about because once we understood this, we knew exactly which elevators to take and/or which stairs.
Cabin / Stateroom

THE BED WAS AMAZINGLY COMFORTABLE! When it was time to sleep (late in the wee hours) we slept very well! Cabin design was great for us (2 people) and we loved our balcony as it gave us another way to experience the ocean and cruise life together. The room had lots of storage (which we loved) in both the room and bathroom. It was truly our home away from home for 5 days!
Ship tip
I have two tips; Learn the ships layout so you won't be frustrated in finding what you want to do or where you want to go. It is as simple as seeing what is located in AFT, MID, and FRONT of the ship. It will help tremendously. Tip #2, have breadfast in the Sunrise restaurant. We enjoyed being seated and served. Wonderful atmosphere and lots of menu options to choose from. It was nice to get away a couple of days from the Buffet crowd. Don't get me wrong, the buffet if not a bad choice; we just like to have variety in our meal plans/options. So....stay openminded and enjoy your time!
Beautiful private island. The food was mediocre in my opinion (picnic food options). Enjoyed the live music, the beach life, and Georges (Bahamian food/beer joint on the island).
Enjoyed our time in Nassau. Did a variety of things. We spent a couple of hours on junkanoo beach and toured Atlantis resort. We also did a local tour of downtown area shops and a quick tour of the Rum Cake factory as well.
No issues whatsover. We were off by 9:30 because we did the carry your own luggage. They went by deck starting at 7:30 or 8:00 a.m. We were on deck 7 so we ate breakfast around 7:30 and went back to our room until 8:3 which is when they called deck 7. This option worked well for us since we only had one luggage each and one back-pack each.
Glad you had fun. I was on the Sunrise in August and my family and I had a great time. Will cruise with her again. Very easy to navigate once you know where everything is at. My only complain like always is the smoking in the casino.
