Review summary

The was the first leg of a "back to back". It was very enjoyable and set the stage for an outstanding 2nd leg. Sunrise is a great ship with a great crew. I very much enjoyed this cruise.

This was quick, the port is building up so there's construction. Once it's complete, it will be nice.

Food and Dining

The food is good. The highlight for me was the Lucky Bowl, servers were Manish & Praveen, they were cool to talk with. Lucky Bowl has 3 bowel offerings a day, total of 14 bowls, beef, pork, chicken, sometimes veggies. I didn't eat at the buffet. Pizza was good, Jay Paul, was always serving. MDR menu seems the same.

Onboard Activities

The trivia was always good. All other activities keep me entertained. Three is the spa/treatments. There's also a public spa. All the areas are M/F, except the lockers.

Entertainment

DJs were good, The ship had 3 sections of music. Aft pool played jazz, contemporary. Main pool area played modern pop, rock, r&b, country. The comedians were funny.

Service and Staff

The staff was great. Those that I became familiar with made it a point to speak, even if I didn't see them, they would get my attention. Everyone I spoke with were friendly.

The inside was refurbished very nice.

Standard balcony cabin. It look similar to a small hotel room.
