Sunrise is NOT completely renovated and was not worth the money. We were very disappointed and wished we had booked on a newer ship.

Review summary

I hope they get everything fixed before others cruise. The elevators the sewage smell which was NOT normal the tv system that didn’t work and much more. And for Pete sake replace the nasty carpet!

Not a lot to do they didn’t even have a Library and that’s a big deal to some of us. The took it out and replaced it with a small coffee shop.

The comedy shows were great. We thought the cruise director was a tad corny some folks likes him a lot though.

For a balcony it was very small and cramped there was barely enough room to get around the bed to get to the balcony which was very dirty

I had a suite and it was tiny! I agree that carpet it's absolutely disgusting! I was so ready to get off that boat. Im on the June 10th sailing hopefully the smell will be gone. I also didn't like the cruise director, music choices were horrible. I heard Etta James At last played at least once a day. ON A CRUISE, REALLY?

Hoping everything is worked out by the time I sail on May 27. I am beginning to get worried. Will continue to look at the reviews from other sail dates. Hopefully, more positive comments.

I hope so. 90% of reviews I have read are negative. I hope the ship gets in shape before we sail in feb. we are so close to changing ships. But a part of me knows every perspective can be totally opposite.

It’s common knowledge that dry dock renovations are never complete yet folks want to jump on the inaugural sailing. It’s likely this area is not yet complete and most balconies are not cleaned after every sailing. I get they could have delayed the sail date but don’t always jump on the first sail next time. Others in face book groups are telling the opposite story to yours.
