I’m just so happy we are getting our money back to go and do whatever we want with it!! That was awesome as I’ve heard so many horror stories of things happening to people and they hardly getting anything for it.

We had the same experience on our very 1st cruise. They gave us ship board credit and some refund, we booked again the exact same week the next year and it was a beautiful fun trip.

well that sounds awful! I realize it was just the luck of the draw that you had to deal with Hurrican Bud and could easily happen to any of us but I've always heard such wonderful things about the service. It's rare to hear someone unhappy with their service crew. We go in mid August and I pray our experience is better. Sorry for your trip.

We were on it too!! Would never take that ship again as our steward was horrible..only cleaned our room a few times and we had one of the top notch suites. Also it was way too crowded and young children running around wild and people not being able to control their alcohol intake and throwing up in hallways multiple times a day! We got off in San Diego to get our 110% money refund and def will cruise again but looking into Princess or Royal Caribbean with our refund. Can’t complain that we all got a free week of cruising and being on the ocean!!! Also hope the man that was taken off due to medical emergency by coast guard helicopter is okay. That was very upsetting. And unfortunately we can not control weather or health. The ship is in need of a lot of repair too and felt bad for the employees who weren’t afraid to let us know how miserable they were and how overworked they are on that ship.

Please don’t let this experience deter you from cruising again. It’s the chances we take cruising in the summer. It truly is a great itinerary for us locals. I hope they were able to take care of you all for the inconvenience.

I’m sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy this trip. Was this the trip during Hurricane Bud? If so, hopefully you can look at the bright side. They kept you safe from the storm and you get 100% towards your next cruise! 🤗
