Review summary

Me and my son had a great time on the Splendor. It was his first time on a cruise and he doesn't want to vacation any other way. He was so impressed with MarQ that I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted to be a cruise director when he gets older! The variety of food, drinks and fun are endless. Make sure you stop in at the EFFY store for the raffles. Ivory is tons of fun!

If you have a chance to purchase Faster to the Fun then do it!! It's more than worth it!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I purchased the Cheers package and it's definitely worth it. I also purchased Bottomless Bubbles for my son but that wasn't worth it at all. I wish the soda package included milkshakes, smoothies and coffee drinks. Our favorite meals were in the dining rooms. We had your time dining and never experienced much of a wait. My son really enjoyed sitting with other people and chit chatting with new faces all the time. The wait staff was always friendly and the food came out quickly and hot.

Onboard Activities

MarQ was the BEST!! I don't know how one person can be everywhere and always so much fun!! There was almost too much stuff to do,

Entertainment

My 12 year old actually enjoyed the 80's show! Need I say more?? Did I say MarQ was the best?

Children's Programs

There weren't many kids on the boat but Circle C did give the kids that were there a place to meet and get to know one another.

Service and Staff

How does everybody remember my name?? Please tip them extra! They work so hard all day and are always friendly with a smile.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
It can get a little confusing because you can't get from one end of the ship to the other on some floors without going up and down. By the time you figure it out the cruise is over haha. The staff is always working hard and keeping everything clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

We got a last minute upgrade from a balcony to an ocean suite and boy was this great!! My favorites were the bigger balcony, double sink and whirlpool tub!!

Ship tip

To get to the BBQ restaurant just go to the lido restaurant and use the stairs there to go up. It's located on one of those floors that cannot be accessed by just going from one end to the other.

Quick and easy!! Surprisingly, though, I didn't start to feel motion sickness until I got off the boat. Strange
