We were disappointed that there was not BIG stage shows like what we have experienced on our cruises with Princess.

We were late getting off the ship due to the tender groupings. Our excursion was scheduled for 11:30, and the tender didn't get us on shore until 11:40, therefore, several attempts to contact the Cactus Group finally they came back and picked us up. The excursion was a lot of the fun though.

Pros: Very friendly staff, and spoke English VERY WELL!!

Cons: I did not like the fact that the buffet would close for periods of time. On other cruises that we have taken, the buffet would transition from one meal to the next, so no matter what time you visited the buffet, it would have food provided.

Recommends Carnival Splendor? Yes!
