This was our winter break vacation. We usually travel with the family and small children. Carnival Sensationkn met all of our expectations.
Embarkation

Embarkation was quick and painless. We went through security very quickly and the entire process was about 20 min. In 25 minutes we were in our rooms putting our bags down and heading to get something to eat.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

The food was very good. In the dining room, buffet, guys burgers, Blue Iguana, pizza and deli. Everywhere we ate we enjoyed our food.
Onboard Activities

The onboard activities were good for a smaller ship. The comedy club was good and so was the Latin club.
Entertainment

The entertainment was good and the shows were good too, again for a smaller ship the activities were pretty good.
Children's Programs

My granddaughter's loved the kids club and never wanted to leave when we went to picked them up. We constantly had to fight with them because all they wanted to do was go to the kids club.
Service and Staff

The service was very good and the staff was very attentive.
Ship Quality

The ship is an old vessel and could use some upgrades but overall very clean.
Cabin / Stateroom

Although a bit small the cabin was good and very clean. The cabin could use some upgrades particularly in the bathroom area but overall the cabin was good. Just what we expect from an older ship.
Ship tip
Carnival Sensation is an older ship so don't expect everything to be brand new. However, although the ship is older it is very well maintained and clean. The staff is also very friendly and attentive.
