Food was really good on this cruise. We tried everything but the sushi bar. Best night was when we did the Chef’s Table special dinner. 10 courses and it was all amazing!

Onboard Activities

Less to do than on larger ships but we still found lots to do. We really enjoyed the sing-alongs and dance parties in the atrium. Comedy club was fun and the musical shows were enjoyable.

Older ship but was very clean on our cruise. Didn’t feel like an old ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

Balcony cabin on starboard side. I don’t remember the room number. Felt fairly private and had nice views. Ours was near the back of ship, so the ride was smoother than up front.

Ship tip

On the port side near the back, there is a single stairwell that goes down to deck 8 where there is a single stall bathroom that no one seemed to know about. Another set of stairs takes you down to deck 7 (Empress) so book a room near the aft on 7 and you get quick easy access to the aft dining room, the comedy club, and Serenity (adults only) area.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

Beautiful island. Great place to relax on the beach. We did the horse ride excursion and was fun - especially galloping in the sea.

Nassau, Bahamas

A lot of folks dislike Nassau but we enjoyed it. The gauntlet of street vendors was annoying but it was easy to ignore them and move on. Like navigating any large city, just keep moving!

Grand Turk Island

Zip line excursion was big fun. Bus ride to northern tip of the island gave some interesting views of locals living their daily lives.
