Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food so, so, especially Lido buffet. Very little food choices for dinner Buffett. Main dining room food ok; enthusiastic servers.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Very small pool for a ship full of kids.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Entertainment ok, which is what you get for the cruise price.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Good service from staff.

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
Old ship, many rust spots on ship including our state room. Common areas were clean and well-maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
Balcony hardly used too hot outside. Balcony small, doors on balcony look like they have never been cleaned.

Ship tip

Make sure your expectations are real for this ship.

You get what you pay for. Break open your wallet if you want something better instead of demeaning those who choose any cruise line.

I wouldn't judge a cruiseline by their weekend cruises. These are usually on older ships and full of adults looking for a long weekend of drinking. That's the case across the board. NCL even offers open bar on theirs.

Ive cruised with Carnival almost 40 times and I TRULY take offence to your comment of a certain demographic. I make over 100,000.00 a year so dont make Carnival cruisers out to be lesser than anybody else because of how we choose to have our fun. When you cruise you put all differences aside. Everyone is equal and you treat everyone the same regardless of your stature. Apparently this was your first cruise.
