Please don’t think the Sensation is not fun because of it being a smaller, older ship. It was SO much fun! One of our friends was nervous to come since there were bad reviews for Sensation. Yes it is older and some things are dated, but we would definitely book that ship again!

Food and Dining

Food was good, the staff just needed to help clean up the tables outside the buffet area looking over the Serenity deck. We sat out there for a hour or so and no one came to clean up the tables for other guests to sit so I cleared all the tables a few times and put all the dirty dishes on just one table so more people could eat out there. Finally we went to go get someone because I couldn’t fit any more dirty dishes on that one table because it was too full.
Grand Atrium and Bar

We loved just sitting there and watching the entertainment they had. Plus it was a bonus that our room was on the same floor.
Alchemy Bar

It was nice coming back up to get a drink and they great you by name before you even hand them the sail and sign card.
Joe's Cafe

Phookham (best coffee girl ever)! She always would welcome me by my name, even when I was just walking by. I love my coffee and she would make different ones for me to try.

Guest Services / Shore Excursions

We had an issue with our luggage and our dinning was incorrect on our sail and sign card. I had to show them my email verifying that we were supposed to be “your time dining” but our cards showed “late dining”. They made a phone call to the Fantasy Dining room and we were set the rest of the trip. They also helped us locate our luggage so all ended well!
Entertainment

We didn’t get a chance to see all the shows but what we saw was good. The band 6th Element was GREAT!

Dragisa, I Putu, and Oliver were our favorites! What a great team and the food was excellent too!
Children's Programs
We had no kids with us.
Service and Staff

We had such a great experience with all the employees. It is crazy how some bartenders can remember your name before you hand them your sail and sign card. Even the Coffee girl, Phookham, remembered our names and would tell us hello (by name) when we walked by.

Layout was good since I remembered it from when I was on Ecstasy a few years ago.
Cabin / Stateroom

We crammed 4 adults into the cabin which made it a little hard, but everything in the cabin was good! Very comfortable beds and pillows!
When we disembarked there were only 2 Customs Agents working which made the process WAY slow. We asked about it and the workers said they usually have 4-6 agents and unsure why they only had 2. Our South Miami Beach excursion started late due to the longer wait through customs. We didn’t get a chance too see everything with the late start, but it was still fun.
It’s just a little hectic right after getting off ship and having so many people (from Island) trying to get you to purchase taxi rides, braid hair, etc, but I guess they need to make a living too and I understand that. We still enjoyed ourselves exploring the city.
Beautiful Island and just played in water most of the time since it was just beautiful and clean! Lunch buffet was good, you just need to make sure you go eat because they don’t announce it’s ready. We just happened to see people walking around with some drink cups.
Beautiful water and lots to do right off the ship. We were the 2nd ship there and didn’t arrive until 11am so it was pretty busy near the port. We just walked the area by the port first and paid $2.00 to get our passports stamped. Then headed straight to Jack’s Shack (near the cement pier). Paid $10 for an umbrella for some shade and the chairs were free. The water was nicer the further from port you went. There were a couple island dogs that were roaming around and they would come lay in your shade for hours. Of course the famous Topher and Calypso (Jack’s dogs) were out playing with everyone as well.
