My husband and I have cruised over 25 cruises and great number of them where on much younger Carnival Cruise Ships. The Sensation need to be retired and the Wait Staff given a lesson in Customer Service.

The DJs were SUPER as well as the Cruise Director. The shows were good.

Children's Programs

I did not have my children with me.

Service and Staff

I am very sad to report that our Waiter was a bit overwhelmed and our food was often cold when we received it.

Ship Quality

The ship needs to be retired. The ship had a noticeable smell as if the smells were trapped in the furniture. The ship overall was not well taken care of. When we first arrive on the ship you could not find a table, because they were all dirty. The Lido Deck dining area was VERY DARK and not inviting AT ALL....in addition to the SMELL. I have cruised this same ship nearly 19 years ago and it does not appear that the ship has undergone any upgrades. The window seals had rust in them.

Cabin / Stateroom

The beds were very comfortable, I wished that we were able to have our sheets changed. Although we were on a short cruise, I still would like to have my sheets changed.

Ship tip

The Carnival Senvation has served its purpose and now it is time for it to be retired...IMMEDIATELY!
