Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The dining rooms are in good condition, but, the wood decks by the pool are in bad shape, including, swollen boards, unsealed surfaces, boards not secured to the floor. Where ever there is decking it looks long over due for resurfacing.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The gym was a good experience. But, the ab machine was setting to close to bean. I jammed my knee.

Entertainment

5 out of 5

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
The ship appeared to be poorly maintained and/or over due for dry doc maintenance. Including, outer deck railing is in an unsafe condition. Some of the railing metal couplings are missing, some have missing screws, some are rusted, the stairway rails are in the same condition. The wood decking has faded. The wood needs replacing. And/or painted and sealed. My cabin showed signs of rusting door frames. The windows are disgusting. The outer hall shows signs of rusting all over the exterior of the ship. Screws are missing on door hinges. Safety rails are not secured to the floor on some floors. Drapes have faded and need replacing. The entertainment stage's freeze dried ice dispensers were not working. Only one of two dispensers were working. All of the chrome, stainless steel and metal expose to moisture showed signs of erosion and/or rust. There is a lot of vibration in the rear of the ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The cabin is comfortable if you are a small or average size person. But, not for an above average size man like myself. The window was dirty. The door frames were rusting at the bottom. The drop down bed hangs over the twin bed therefor obstructing the mobility of other guest who are not sleeping. All of the metal in the rest room show signs of rusting and missing screws.

Ship tip

Don't stand to close to the outer rails of the ship during rough seas, It loose your footing the rails might not support your weight.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

4 out of 5
It was in good condition but could use some improvements.

Nassau, Bahamas

2 out of 5
This port is in bad condition. The port needs maintenance and upgrades ASAP.. It is weather beaten. Unwelcoming, There is no land scraping. The tourist area is congested. And, the harmony of the shoreline is missing. I suggest an area for shoreline fishing should be coordinated in the area. Nonetheless, my excursion was educational

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

The ferries were over crowded.

Grand Turk Island

4 out of 5
