We had not been on carnival in many years. We will go back and are planning a trip within this year however we will not go back on the sensation I would like to go on one that has more activities. From what we heard from other guests the sensation has less pools laugh other outdoor activities on the ship.

Our grandson love the buffet and green eggs and ham was wonderful. With that said our main dining room experience was not very good at all. I will later seem to be somewhere else because he definitely was not attentive to us. We ordered beverages we never received them dessert was about to come and everyone at our table still had their dinner dishes in front of them we began to stock them and finally found another crew member to clear our table. We did not receive send my buyer side dishes although we asked a couple of times and our waiter kept telling us he would bring them to us. He asked if I would like sour cream for my big potato I said yes I never received it. Then it seemed we got the most attention the last night of our cruise when he stood there smiling telling all of us what a pleasure it was to serve us and then standing with his hands folded behind your back And we all looked at each other and after he left we said now he wanted to pay attention to us because he was waiting for us all to give him a little something extra with his gratuity.
Onboard Activities

We did build a bear. Our grandson did love kids camp. He went to Ocean camp and was a penguin. They were amazing I can say that they were probably the best crew members we interacted with. We did enjoy the pool however on one particular day someone who would had a little too much to drink got sick in the pool everyone got out and we were trying to find someone to clean it out and honestly it seem to take forever we ended up leaving I’m going back to our state room. We heard a number of people talking about it the rest of the cruise how long it took for someone to come over and even begin to do anything about it. The other thing that I do need to mention there are great waterslides on the ship however the staff needs to be a little more aware of what is going on. They have what I would call a spotter at the bottom to make sure the area is clear when someone is coming down the The waterslide. My five-year-old grandson came down first and moved out of the way the spotter then waved me down and you need to understand you’re going about 30 miles an hour coming down there shoot and as I reach the bottom my grandson was gay ending there and we collided he went up in the air and over by head now neither one of us was hurt but someone could’ve been and there was an adult at the bottom who should’ve told him to move out of the way he is five years old yes he should’ve known that but the carnival employee should have been keeping an eye i’m what was going on for safety issues.

By the last day of our cruise the upper lounge area above deck 11 it seemed that there was no longer anyone there to take drink orders to clean up and use glasses people were beginning to stack them on empty tables. As I said previously we were so disappointed with our dining experience in our main dining room. We did enjoy our steward. The other thing we found was that many of the crew members did not have a great deal of knowledge of the ship on a number of occasions we asked where we could find a public bathroom. Most times we receive the answer that we would have to go back to our state room by about date three we started to notice them on our own on the ship. I would think that crew members would know where her day were.

As I said in one of my last comments the lounge sitting area above the pool by day three it seemed no the one was there that often and empty glasses send that bitch we’re beginning to build up on tables and it was rare to see someone there cleaning them up except in the early morning hours. Or even there to take drink orders.
Cabin / Stateroom

The only problem we really had with our cabin was that no matter how high you turn the air conditioning up the room was still very hot we tended to sleep on top of the covers at night.
Ship tip
We loved kids camp as I have said before our favorite favorite part of the cruise. What I might suggest is that a Bieber or something be given to the parents or grandparents when you drop your child off. If your child wants to leave early prior to your pick up time it would be nice for them to have a way to contact you since you do not have cellular service on the ship.
We loved Cozumel. We did the dolphin and Manatee experience and they have great photos and memories that will last a lifetime. We also did a private jeep excursion going into the rain forest going out to some of the ruins, fineto the oldest village on the island and also into the caves.
You to remember this ship all the older ship our training ships they bring them over they put them on the smaller ships to teach them and train them and the good ones go on to better ships in the other ones go on to wherever they put on it’s only a training ship
