Review summary

Always enjoy cruising and make the best time of what we have. Just wasn't the best of ships. Would not book the Sensation again.

Onboard Activities

Same old boring Carnival fare. Serenity was filled with loud, obnoxious 20 somethings. It was quieter and more relaxing by the Water works with the young children.

Other than one comedian, the entertainment was substandard.

No children traveling with us.

Our steward and particularly our wait staff were excellent

Ship Quality

The ship was as clean as it could be. Old ship showing age. Faucets in many public restrooms were not properly attached. The floor in our shower had a huge water bubble under it creating an unstable environment. It has the layout with the galley in the center so you have to go up and down the stairs to get to your dining room. Elevators made some very scary noises

Even though there were 3 adults in the cabin, we were comfortable and had enough room for our clothes for a 5 day cruise. As with the rest of the ship, the room looked tired. Only one plug.

Ship tip

If you're looking for a smaller ship and don't care about amenities, this was a less expensive option.

What was it you didn’t like? we are going on it in a couple of weeks. I know its an older ship, but was there anything specific you didn’t care for?
