Review summary

Had a great time but do wish the ship was bigger. I also don't think I'd book another trip that went to Half Moon Cay. I'd rather go to a port where I could do free things on my own.

Onboard Activities

Although there were several hot tubs for the adults, there was only a very, very small pool for everyone. Even though the ship had a couple of water slides for the kids, there was no pool, they really needed a separate pool specifically for the kids.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The few shows we saw were great, however, if you wanted to be up to enjoy and explore your port after getting some sleep, forget going to the adult comedy show. The adult show didn't even start until 11:45.

Shipped design could have had more windows. The cleanliness was very good.

This port is crazy when so many ships are going out! I've never seen anything like it! Things ran smoothly and there was plenty of people to direct you where to go and what to do.

Grand Turk Island

This island is beautiful! We did a snorkeling and rum tasting expedition (not through Carnival) and had an amazing time! If you like to dive, we were told this is the third best reef to do so. This island was certainly my favorite!

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

The day we went it was raining on and off. We did a stingray expedition. We didn't really get to explore the island much due to the weather, but there didn't seem to be much to do there. The ship had to bring food/drinks to the island because you have to tender from the ship to the island due to shallow water. Everything costs money...had to pay 2.75 for a bottled water! The locker rental was 8.00 bucks for the day and I don't even want to know how much it was to rent a cabana! This was my least favorite island.

Nassau, Bahamas

Lots of things to do, but beware if you don't like being haggled, then learn to ignore, say no thanks, or just keep on moving- quickly.

Surprising. On this site, Half Moon Cay gets a majority of positive reviews. But I understand your desire to go to an inhabited island.
