Review summary

Great starter cruise at a great price but watch out for on-board expenses! Some you can control and some are controlled by Carnival. ( They can get a little greedy) We were very conservative and our bill came to half of what we paid for the initial cruise.

We got a balcony and after seeing the other options were very glad we did.

Ship tip

Bring an alarm clock that lights up at night and a power strip. Monitor your on-board account for bogus charges, there were several on ours.

ShipfacedBrandy, you can log back into the booking site and add it or call your assigned personal cruise person add he/she will add it to your balance.....I had mine added last month as I didn't want to owe anything once I pay the cruise off. I sail Dec 9th.

This will be my first time cruise so im thinking whar expenses. i know its so much for gratuities daily but unless u purchase im not aware of expenses. how do u prepay for gratuities??

I came home with money ð° but we don't drink alcohol and we watch what we spend. You just gotta be careful

the only expense I can think of is gratuities. if you pre pay the only expense is what you spend.
