Review summary

The ship was in good condition. This was our first cruise and we were pleased with our stateroom. We stayed in the Upper floor porthole room. Nothing fancy, but very acceptable. Our room steward was amazing!

Ports of call

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

We did the dolphin encounter. It was really fun, but very expensive. It was a 3.5 hour excursion but we were only with the dolphins for about an hour. And when you are in the water with the dolphins it is only for about 5 minutes. You almost have to book an excursion at Freeport because the Port they let you off at has nothing there but a small straw market. So unless you feel comfortable taking taxi on your own somewhere and think you can get back to the ship on time, then you need to book an excursion.

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Nassau was awesome because they let you off the ship right in the "downtown" area. Lots of shops and restaurants. Also, there are many ferrys and taxis around so if you do not book an excursion then there are alternate transportation. We went snorkleling on this day and had a good time. This port it is not necessary to book an excursion if you just want to go to a beach. Just take a ferry boat or taxi over to the Atlantis beach.

Pros: The many activites and endless things to do.

Cons: The adult only deck had 2 hot tubs and no pool. Also, there was only one pool on the entire ship and a million kids were in it at all times. Also, this was a 4 night cruise and it was wayyy too short, we felt rushed the whole time trying to do everything there was being offered.
