Review summary

I am not a very exciteable person, but seeing the ship size excites me everytime. I love to be on a top deck and watch how they manuver it in and out of ports. We were held in our muster meeting too long and missed when the ship left port the first time. We are everyday hard-working people who work hard to make ends meet. Taking a cruise is more like an oppurtunity to us than just a great vacation. With all the differnt nationalities on the ship it's a learning experience too. Everyone works hard to make sure the experience is great for everyone on board. I constantly noticed all the employees of the ship cleaning and fixing everything to be in top shape. The cabin stewardest is eagar to do what ever you need. We didn't do the formal dining, but in the buffet, they walk around and clear dishes as you finish with them very promtly. The maintenance guys were constantly working on something. There were people every where cleaning and shinning. They all work hard and deserve and big thank you! The cruise took us from the stresses of our everyday life and put us in a almost fairy-tale dream. It is really nice to be on the other end of the service line for a change. They made our cruise wonderful, thank you!

Nassau, Bahamas

We went to the Atlantis Aquarium here. Along the ride, they told us interesting facts about the Island. When arriving there, they informed us we could stay there as long as we liked but we would ride one of two different boats back to our ship. A guilde took us and told us all about the Island and the fish in the Aquarium. Once the tour was over, our guild disapeared and we were on our own to find our way back to a boat that we hadn't seen before. We got lost and had to walk a few blocks more than we would have. They could have at least gave us printed dirrections back to the docks. Once we came back to Nassau and had our ship in sight, we visited a big tent that was a gift shop. Every few foot, there was a person there basically begging us to buy from them. They had alot of neat stuff there, but we left early without looking at it all because we didn't like being hasseled. We were even offered to buy drugs there.

We had bad weather the first few days on our criuse and didn't want to puchase an excursoin in fear of the weather. We did leave the ship and go to some small shops at the port. The people here were friendly and didn't hassel us to buy anything. It was a pleasant venture and we met some really nice people here.

Pros: We love the many levels of outside decks the Carnival ships have. The service is great.

Cons: We don't drink and drinks were pushed heavily.
