Review summary

Good service overall. Buffet meals were great. Main dining room service was good; although food quality was inconsistent. Some nights it was excellent, other nights not as good. The ship has a putt-put golf course (my boys thought it was great), basketball court and volleyball court. Evening shows on board were very good, although they were "Vegas style", so not always suitable for families with younger children. There was a teen club, which one of my children really enjoyed. The stops in Bahamas were enjoyable, although I would read up ahead of time on options of things to do without going on the expensive tours.

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

Good shopping in the straw market (walking distance) - make sure you bargain. The pirate museum is within walking distance and interesting. I took a tour of the island, and the interesting facts given by the tour guide were good, but the only interesting stop was the Queen's staircase. You could probably take a taxi there.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

Curise dock is a long ways away from the town. But you can take a taxi and find things to do without going on a tour. Snorkeling was very good. I took a tour, but other people said they did it on their own from the beach. Wait to do shopping in the straw market in Nassau, but look here if you make it to town.

Pros: great lunch buffets

Cons: early morning arrival and departure from ports
