Review summary

As a solo traveler on this cruise I would have appreciated to have to not pay for two passengers, however, this is the standard for this cruise line and most of the others too.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Holy moly, less than 10 minutes from entrance of building to board…I felt like I was time traveling VERY unusual My arrival time was 10:30-11:00

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Dining room and included venues great as usual, buffet very tired looking. Didn’t even try it this time If you enjoy salmon, the Salmon choices were perfectly cooked in main dining room The new Emeril choices on the menu are good

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Love me some trivia, spin the wheel trivia was super fun working in a team

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Comedy during both sessions very boring I did not attend any of the live shows DJ music on lido is always enjoyable and the rock and glow 80s night is fun

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Everyone was amazing, except bar staff at rear of ship and red frog bar on lido. Took forever to get acknowledgment that I was even at the bar. Seemed overworked and flat

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Layout is the best, especially lido with its tiered seating and hot tubs on the larger side than other ships. Adult deck hot tub was actually hot which was nice but bathroom out of order the entire cruise.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Such a great cabin for a solo traveler Porthole interior Twin bed with couch, huge room Quiet as a mouse except FOR THE DOCKING TIMES IN THE EARLY AM, you will get significant noise from the anchoring gear If you are an early riser, by 630 am or so, no worries

Ship tip

Nice smallish ship size and easy to navigate

Ports of call

Ensenada, Mexico

5 out of 5
Do the lobster lunch. I’ve done it 3 times, so worth it

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Nothing of note,
