Review summary

My husband, teenage son and I had a good time on this quick trip to Ensenada. It was my first time on Carnival. My previous cruises have been on Royal Caribbean and Holland America. I was a little worried because I've read things about fights and obnoxious people on Carnival. It was not like that AT ALL. The passengers were super friendly and considerate. We really enjoyed our time with all the guests on board. The cruise director, Rico, was great and there was plenty to do to keep us busy.

Main dining room for dinner was great. The buffet for breakfast and lunch was good, not a wide variety of selections though. Pizza at Pizzeria del Capitano was awesome! Drinks at all bars were very good.

This is the smallest cabin I stayed in, but I knew that going in. It was comfortable and had enough storage space. It was fine for 3 people for a short trip. I slept in the pull-down bed and it was surprisingly cozy and comfortable... and I'm 50. : )

Ship tip

The buffet was always crowded for breakfast but we never had any trouble finding a comfortable and quiet place to sit by the pool.

Easy port to walk around and shop. We had breakfast and then headed back to the ship shortly after because it started to rain.
