Excellent cruise other than a few accessibility issues.

Review summary

Overall, an excellent experience. Please consider providing an accessibility bag, like the sensory bag. It could contain straws (paper straws are fine) for guests with fine motor challenges. Luckily, we brought our own. A large print deck plan emphasizing accessibility to all levels would be awesome also.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We loved the Sunset Room dinners! The seater, Benedict, was great. Joycyla, our server, and Nando, assistant team server were amazing!! They made our experience very comfortable and unforgettable, especially as my daughter is in a power wheel chair. The staff, the food, and the service were all excellent! We also enjoyed the Lido deck food.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We thought the fitness center was excellent. We also enjoyed some programs, bingo, and the casino. Mickey and Monica did a great job.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We loved the short performances during dinner in the Sunset Room, as well as the magician. I thought Dougie Doug Williams performance was a bit over the top and offensive in terms of stereotypes and being needlessly off color (e.g., using terms for female anatomy in most sentences). Rico, Mickey, and Monica were great.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
My room (6207) steward, I Gusti, was excellent!!!! Amazing service. All wait staff, especially Joycyla and Nando, were great. Throughout our stay, whenever we encountered ship personnel, they were unfailingly kind and helpful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Cleanliness was A+. The ship was mostly accessible for a power wheelchair - except for difficulty getting to uppermost levels (basketball, etc.) It was confusing figuring out elevators.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Overall our cabin was super. Our room was fully wheelchair accessible, except that the door did not open when the button was pushed. We also could not turn a deadbolt. We liked the cabin size and balcony.

Ship tip

Try the Sunset Room!

Page 2 of all of Carnival's PDF deck plans is specifically for accessibility passengers. Paper straws are available on board.
