Review summary

Carnival is not my favorite cruise line. However, it served the purpose for a fun birthday weekend cruise. I would go again if the price was right.

I would avoid the main dining room. Ate there 2x. First night dinner and sea day brunch. 40-50 min waits for a table each time. Sea day Brunch was a huge disaster. After waiting 50 minutes for a table we had to wait 30min for water. Bar drinks never came. 1hr and 10 minutes for food.Dishes missing condiments, syrup, gravy, ketchup. Waiter just dropped and ran away. Had to flag down any available person to ask for condiments and it still took 15 minutes to get them. Would not return to main dining room. Italian restaurant was great and we ended up eating there twice. Also, I noticed the buffet had many of the same items that the main dining room was serving.

Main dining room staff really seem to struggle. Maybe they need more staff or more experienced staff. Plus the food was underwhelming.

Shop was clean. However, the layout very hard to navigate. Lots of dead ends. Had to go up/down to get around .

Cabin / Stateroom

This was my first time in an inside cabin. Shared the room with 2 other adults. Pleasantly surprised! I would stay in an inside cabin again for a short 3/4 night cruise.

Colors of Ensenada painting and wine tasting excursion. Def recommend. Was the highlight of my trip.
