Review summary

This was an interesting cruise if you enjoy people watching. It is not recommended to get off on Ensenada unless you really need that cheap trinket and booze. It's easy not to gain weight on the cruise (I lost a few pounds) since the food isn't that great.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Much smoother than it used to be.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Food was mediocre at best and it was incredibly crowded and difficult to find a table.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Ropes course was fun but pools and spas were always crowded with too many children so we never went in. I enjoyed the Cloud 9 spa though.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Comedy was good but one show was repeated.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
Magic show was interesting but kids did not like the kids club.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All staff was very friendly and as accommodating as possible.

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
I did not like how you have to walk through a smelly casino to get to the restaurant. Also wanted bow and stern access.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was a good size with lots of storage.

Ship tip

Lower your expectations and you'll be fine
