Review summary
Just got off the ship this morning and already home chilling (A perk of living near the ship). I had a great time even though I hurt my knee and needed a wheelchair off the ship. This was my first time cruising since COVID and I thought I wouldn’t like using my phone for so many things but I actually enjoyed it. I loved doing the check-in for anytime dining, the kids club, and to make my own planner of activities I wanted to check out. I don’t really have any complaints about the food, the MDR was adequate, Guys Burgers never disappoints and Shaqs Big Chicken was pretty good. The Chefs table is awesome!! This was my second time going and this time was even better than the last. If you have the chance to book it, I say do it! I used my OBC to pay for it. I had DOU throughout the ship and I mainly had Fun Ships all day with a Corona here and there. I also learned that Bottled water, Gatorade and Monster did not count towards my limit so even though I got the Bubbles Package for my boys, then tended to want water and Gatorade so the waiters or bartenders would just put the drinks on my DOU and just spaced it 5 mins apart. Also, the bartenders at the Red Frog rum bar (Tareq, Moses, Putu) were the best and that was my hangout spot while my little one played in the water for hours. Everyone was so friendly and I had some great conversations with people from all over. I loved my room and wish I had spent more time on my balcony. I got an Extended Balcony Grand Suite and the bedroom was separate from the living room so that was nice when I was already in bed and my teenagers came in later. My only real complaint was how the twin beds were pushed together but would easily move and my little one would be wedged between the mattresses knocked out lol. My steward Greg was really nice and I think he liked that we didn’t ask for much but extra towels and ice. I really liked the layout of the lido/pool/water play area and I was able to watch Sonic (3 times!!) and also keep an eye on my little one. All in all I had a good time and can’t wait to get back on the water.Embarkation
