Review summary

Great time very cost effective. Just book. It was a success and this pandemic didn’t stop anything. Not many ppl traveling so cruises are a lot smaller in numbers and in my opinion a lot more save.

Embarkation

This was like the easiest time getting on the ship. Our appointment time was at 1pm but we showed up at 11am and they let us get on. This never happens, but since there were only 800 ppl on our ship this let us come whenever. The process was super quick on the Covid test they were only looking for a date and a name, honestly you probably could’ve had a fake document and they wouldn’t even have noticed.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
It’s Carnival so the food is hit and miss. The Big Chicken was hands down the best. The Italian place was good, I only ate there during lunch when it was free. The buffet was decent for breakfast. The dinner hall was good they usually had something I would eat and the only time they had good dessert was day 1 when they had the salted Carmel cheesecake, I should’ve grabbed a few slices and saved them.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There was always something to do. Doug Williams was hilarious highly inappropriate, but funny. I also liked Trivia. The bingo lady talked way too much and made bingo not enjoyable at all, she was doing way too much. Casino I won and lost. The spa omg that was one of the best massages I’ve ever had.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Myrene was great, they always remember your names and some of my party had some hard names. When we first arrived it took them a minute to come separate our beds, but after I lit a fire under their butts, we didn’t have any more issues and everything was A1.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was very clean we didn’t have an issue with any sewer smell, at least not where I was sleeping. The ship isn’t very big and I still prefer the Vista ship’s design. This design was very basic and small. It’s still nice but they could’ve done better with all the money they said they put into it.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
I would definitely book the same room, we were right by lido. And there was no noise at all which was shocking. Perfect location and the elevators were right there and we only had to take a floor up or down to get to the center of everything. Perfect cabin spot.

Ship tip

If you do this specific cruise book an excursion

Ports of call

Ensenada, Mexico

Do the ATV with wine tasting excursion. It was so much fun. Freddy and Alex were both alot of fun, you will get super dusty so dress the part. But it’s the best time I’ve had.

Disembarkation

We were off the ship before 8am no issues with elevators, I know they probably lost money, but I enjoyed a small crowd. I’ll probably book another one while everyone is still paranoid to travel.
