Review summary

I still give them 5 stars because everyone from the people on our boat, to the staff, to the cruise director (Dr. E.) were fun and friendly. I also enjoyed my room, my room steward, the food, and the ports we visited. I haven’t sailed on the Pride since 2012, and since then they had some many restorations/changes (for the good), that made me glad that I decided to cruise again with them. Pros: 1. Room Service menu was way better. Some food items had a fee, but so worth it. 2. The Guy Fieri Burgers/Blue IguanaTaco lines stayed crowded...Why?...because the food was that GOOD! They also added a Bonsai Sushi Bar that kept a crowd as well. 3. They added a water park and new adventure slide to the back of the boat! 4. The Candy Store (if you have a sweet tooth like me) had a good variety of candy...mostly gummy though. 5. The SkyBox sports bar was way more upscaled and had a video game unit in it. You could also order bar food there...I think. CONS 1. Carnival Hub/WiFi was in and out. I wouldn’t recommend getting it. Just go old school walk-talkie with your family and grab a Fun-Times to keep up with stuff on the boat. Besides we are on a cruise for just that...a vacation. I just wanted to try it out since it was offered, but don’t waste your money. 2. Arcade: Not great to me. Limited arcade games with ridiculous prices (like $1 to $2 to $4 and $6 dollar games). Too expensive for my blood. They had days when the prices would drop to a more reasonable price...like $0.50 etc. but after 12 noon the price went back up. What happen to the old school arcade games where you just played for fun? Most of the games were games where you were trying to win apple products/go pro items...and less arcade games. 3. Tender process to Half-Moon Cay could have been a little more smoother (a lot of time wasted). Perhaps they should give everyone a zone ticket the day before or when we initially board the ship. Everyone (not doing and excursion) had to meet on the Lido deck at 8:30 am to get a zone number. It wasn’t unorganized or anything, but could have been a little better. That’s it in a nutshell. I would recommend ANYONE to go on this cruise and have fun!!! You won’t be disappointed!!!
