Review summary

I've been on Carnival, Norwegian and Royal Caribbean. I've been on bigger, more modern & prettier ships than the Pride yet it's officially my favorite ship! It's small and easy to manage. You won't spend your whole vacation trying to figure out where everything is. I can honestly say that my husband and I did not eat lunch or dinner ONE SINGLE TIME at the buffet. The day of embarkment we went to Guy's Burger for lunch till our room was ready. After that first bite, it was over! We ate there every single day. We even skipped the MDR for dinner twice when we weren't interested in that certain days menu. So please lose about 5lbs before you board. You'll thank me later... We've already booked for next year, 300+ days to go but it's worth the wait. Don't forget to bring a power strip. Defintely book a balcony room. It's worth the extra money. We also purchased the bottemless soda package but there's juice available during breakfast and lemonade/iced tea available all day. I suggest purchasing per drink. I didn't drink $60 worth of soda in a week. We sailed the 3rd week of January so there wasn't too many children or college students onboard. It was mostly an adult crowd. It really was fun & lively when it needed to be, and relaxing and quiet when it needed to be. This may be different during the summer/ spring break/holiday months which is why we choose to cruise late January. The only complaint is standing on line almost an hour for check-in at the terminal. But once you get onboard, you quickly forget your sore feet. And once you get to Guy's Burger, you're already thinking of your next cruise!
