Review summary

Had a great time on the cruise , got to port at 12 15 and was onboard at 1 pm , without fttf by the way , was eating guys burgers instantly , they were awesome , had a great staff at our tables , food every nite was awesome , ordered 2 dinners on a few occasions if I wasn't sure about trying something new , nite entertainment was very good, all singing and music shows excellent and comedy shows pg shows were great , had my 10 yr old so adult shows were out lol , movies by the pool were pretty cool , one at 7 30 and then at 10 pm , shops onboard were not great just ok, grand Turks amazing especially margaritaville , half moon beautiful beach and Freeport great bargains for shirts and other stuff, also senior frogs was a cool place to drink , great fun cruise , if anyone has any questions I would be glad to try to answer any ..

Yes both places offer free chairs and umbrellas , the umbrellas go quick but loads of chairs were open, I didn't notice any lockers but everyone leaves there stuff on there chairs , there were lots of security and police so we felt comfortable leaving our stuff on the chairs

Thanks for all the great info so far! We are sailing in August. For Grand Turk and Half Moon Cay are the chairs free for both? Also, we have FTTF..think we have good chance for getting chairs and umbrellas for the beach? Also, are there lockers on the two beaches? Thanks...

Yes chairs are free at half moon cay beach and also umbrellas which go quickly !!

Yes the water did have a strange after taste, some people didn't mind it though, the shows are free for those with the 6 pm dining I suggest the comedy show at 8 15 which is pg rated and then there's a 9 30 show in the Taj Mahal which the singing and dance shows, they are free but comedy clubs fill up fast, the singing shows are rarely filled to capacity , there's also movies by the pool at 7 30 and a second at 10 pm , hope this helps !!

Is only $4.50 for the case of water...and I'm like you I prefer my alcohol and my husband the water. ð

good idea we will do that I drink lots of water but read so many things on cruises some says its good and others bad but i have to say for me, if after taste, i prefer bottled water but at the same time, its only filtered water not springwater, I guess we will need to switch to alcohol at some point! lol I don't drink much but I like my beer at 4 and a glass of wine dinner time and that's all depends if i can cruise like a pro ð

I'm excited too...I been in 4 cruises, but Carnival the first one. My co-worker told me if we drink a lot of water to get the water package because the water on the cruise has an after taste.

Annie3 I will see you on the same cruise...never been on Carnival before, but a lot of good reviews. Is this is your first time cruising I will suggest to take Dramamine 2 hours prior to sailing time.

Leaving Sunday to, my first cruise , nervous but I can do this ð It's reassuring to read positive stuff and when negative, i try to be objective. Just being with my family and "off" of our crazy life, I'm good. Thanks for sharing your experience on the Pride , I can't wait to experience this :)))

We bought souvenirs right at the port and walked to senior frogs for a drink and apps , we had only until 1 pm to get back on ship , actually was plenty of time 10 30 - 1 00 pm

Cruise director was Saffie , she was very good kept things moving at all times and Freeport markets you can get t shirts 3/10.00 decent. Quality my wife got some nice bracelets pretty good prices as well, grand turks was very expensive high end type stuff

I'm glad you had such a good time , I'm doing the Pride cruise in August .I did get the FTTF oops . but it sure is nice to know boarding is quick. Could you tell me please who was the cruise director and is the markets in Freeport worth shopping in as far selection and price. I'd appreciate it.
