Review summary

We had a great time on Carnival Pride for 7-day Bahama trip. Weather, food, excursions were perfect for the cruise. Additionally, kids Camp Carnival activities and water fun activities kept our daughter super excited. She didn't want to leave the cruise ! All employees and managers were courteous and friendly. Employees at Freeport beach getaway managed kids well and so did camp Carnival. We would definitely travel again with Carnival.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Carnival offered buffet and dine in varieties of American, Italian, Mexican, Chinese, some Caribbean cuisines. Additionally, we recommend adding few Indian dishes for a change!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Recommend including broadway style shows similar to NCL to attract all age groups. Our 8 year old daughter loved all youth camps and activities on board and on shore. Movie choices can be improved as well.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Very good programs and staff was very caring. Only wish the location of kids camp can be somewhere in the middle of ship, so families from all ends of ship can reach it with limited walk!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All employees provided great service.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Being 15 yr old ship, minor wear and tear is expected, however, few broken tiles or uneven surfaces can become safety issues.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was good for our small family employees were helpful.

Ship tip

If you are traveling with young kids, definitely use Camp Carnival! Also, eat as much at buffets as well as dining restaurants. Both offer great variety.
