Review summary

My wife and I tried a New Year's cruise and the Pride was there to oblige. Being it was a maiden voyage, we put our expectations kind of low. Boy we were wrong for that. Carnival has their act together. Everything ran like clockwork! This was our sixth cruise and it was like this ship had been in service for years. The food was great, the shows were good. We had a room with a balcony, which was good, but we like RCI for balconies. RCI has sliding doors so you can enjoy the sea while you sleep. With Carnival, you have to stick a plastic chair in the door to keep it open. Oh well, still a great ship. P.S. If you want to be treated like royalty, carry lots of singles and don't be afraid to tip extra and believe us, they go the extra mile. Happy Cruising for happy people.
