You don’t need as many clothes as you think you do. We didn’t wear half of what we took with us.

There are no good seats in the Normandie Theater aft of the first set of support poles on the stage level. If you're going to go to a stage show, GO EARLY and try to get your seats forward of the support poles on the stage floor.

The ship is a little bit small, and the buffet lines can get long during peak hours.

Learn what elevators go to what floors. Some dont go all the way up and some floors you cant get to the front or back of the boat. Learn your boat.

I have taken many cruises on the Paradise. I do not do excursions anymore - I like to do some shopping on the dock and then go back to the ship and enjoy being on the ship while most passengers are on tours.

If going to the duty free shop the first night is the best night to go. Go to your reserved dining at least once to enjoy a great experience. If you have more than two adults in an interior room on this boat you might want to upgrade.

Do not expect to have muchof a pool experience, as there is still only one main pool. Don't expect much out of the Serenity deck either, as there are 2 hot tubs filled with revelers who have typically had too much to drink. Not very Serene.

If you have small children the kids swim area is great! It’s relaxing on this deck for the adults and fun for the kiddos.
