Review summary

We enjoyed our time on the boat. It wasn’t as nice as we expected but we had cruised royal Caribbean the time before and felt that that cruise ship was nicer. It also may have been a poor choice on our part to choose a cruise during college spring break week. Had lots of drunken college students along for the ride with us. They were fun to watch some of the time but pretty much dominated the pools and hot tubs. Getting on the ship went smoothly but getting off did not so don’t book your flight home too early on the return day.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Everything ran smoothly getting on the ship to embark.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Portions were very small for dinner. We liked the variety in the appetizers. We enjoyed the Guy Fieri burger Station a lot. It was also very cold in the dining room.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Pool was cold so everyone was jam packed into the two hot tubs on the Lido deck. We enjoyed the comedy club. Played a few rounds of trivia which was fun.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Kind of cheesy but entertaining.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward was very nice and greeted us every time we encountered. The two gentlemen that waited on us in the dining room seemed like they were spread a little thin.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Elevators were very slow. Our stateroom was located in the front of the boat and our dining room was located all the way in the back so it was not real convenient. Decor was a little dated but everything was clean and well kept.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Found some items from the previous guests on the floor by the bed so I felt like the cabin could’ve been cleaned better. All the sheets and towels etc were all very clean and orderly. I felt the size of the stateroom was nice.

Ship tip

Bring a sweater with for walking around in the shop. The air conditioning is a little too cold.

Ports of call

Tampa, Florida

3 out of 5
The debarkation process was very slow and unorganized. Didn’t like the porters soliciting for people to use their services.

Nassau, Bahamas

Bimini, Bahamas

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
They only called muster station A and after that never heard another announcement for any of the others. The lines were backed up past the elevators that took you down to the correct deck to disembark so people were always cutting in line. No one explained that there was a line for guest services and a line for disembarking in the hall to anyone so that caused further delay getting off of the boat.

Sorry disembarkation did not go as smoothly as you like. Young spring break cruisers can get wild. Thanks for your review.

Appreciate your feedback. Your choice of one of the smallest and oldest ships in the fleet with those Spring Breakers could be part of the reason this didn’t measure up. Glad you mostly enjoyed your cruise.
