Review summary

Avoid this cruise and do not look at their “low” prices because at the end they will charge you without your authorization!!!!!! Then you will have to deal with all the disputes and headaches. Buy the way there is no way to get to their customer service unless you email. Finally when reached they say that no such charges where made. However my bank do see them and we did dispute them all and now I have to wait up to 90 days to get my money back. I wish I have not went to this cruise!!!

Lots of financial rip off

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
I thought it’s food all inclusive 24/7 but there is nothing really to eat!!!! Nothing but pizza 2 hour waiting wait!!!! Nothing sweet so if you didn’t get to eat for dinner then you’ll stay hungry all rest of the night. Nothing to sting through out your cruse but over sweet lemonade, no sodas, or even sparkling water

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

No kids activities at all, one small pool and not sure if there is filtration system. People were in the pool back to back with each other! No space to swim

Nothing at all! Not even on deck movies

Ship tip

The whole thing very unorganized!!! And chip!!After we finished And we’re back home, they put on hold $590 if my account, the. This amount was unauthorized. And the next day they charged me a new amount of $260 , which left me with $4 balance. They never let go of sum of $590 an another $260 which comes to sum of 850 all together. The same thing happened to my mothers account. Now I’m disputing all the charges and hopefully I’ll get my money back.I highly don’t recommend this cruise, it looks cheap but at the end you spend more then you would ever thought. To avoid headaches, don’t look at their incorrect low prices as advertised.carnival cruises will take all of your money. Therefore go with other cruises that you maybe little more expensive but at least you know what you charges are and it’s much more worthy . I wish I would have known that. Finally instead of spending an about $800 per person, I was charged $2000

Sorry you experienced so many problems. Our 5/1/22 cruise on the Carnival Magic went smoothly the $200 hold on our credit card was never processed. We were able to check our expense balance throughout each day and finished with a plus .41 balance at the end of our cruise. I hope you are able to get your problems worked out.

Not sure I believe most of this poster's claims. After many cruises, we never had anything close to this happen.

I don’t know what to tell you the last 7 cruises I’ve been on have been with Carnival including one on the Paradise no issues did you pre pay your gratuities maybe that was the charge or maybe an excursion ?

This has never happened on my experience with any Carnival ship. Customer service is on the ship or you can call its not just email. Your account summary can be seen on the Carnival Hub before you even leave the ship so its your responsibility to monitor charges/dispute. They dont randomly charge after the cruise. I would have requested proof of these charges. Customer service has always been pleasant for us. Maybe try an all inclusive resort and just fly there. Cruising is not expensive but it can be if you charge alot lol. It adds up quick. We decide on a budget before we cruise after spending to much on the first cruise just from the excitement lol. Give them a second chance.

Read the documents, been on 25 Carnival cruises. You are sadly mistaken on all aspects. You should save you money and not cruise.

Sounds like cruising isn’t for you and you did not read the terms of the contract. The cruise lines (and most businesses) put a hold on your card of estimated charges and then settle for the final amount at the end. Any amount on hold above the final amount is released based on the terms of your bank / credit card provider, not the cruise line.
