Great mid-length cruise on a smaller ship.

Review summary

I really enjoyed this trip. Good mix of sea days and port visits. Ship was great. Crew were great. I’d sail Paradise again on a different itinerary.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Quick and efficient. Curb to ship in 20 minutes.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was good not great. Service was the same. Lack of dining options was the only draw-back of this ship.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Plenty of activities to keep you busy on sea days. Finding a deck chair was not an issue.

Entertainment

We didn’t attend any shows.

Children's Programs

We don’t have children.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Steward (Irpan) exceeded expectations. Other wait staff were friendly and attentive.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was extremely clean. Older ship with the character that come along with that. I like the lay-out as smaller ships are my preference.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great bed. Plenty of space and storage for the two of us. Upgraded TV screen was added bonus.

Ports of call

Tampa, Florida

4 out of 5
No excursion. Easy port to navigate. We’ll use this location again.

George Town, Grand Cayman

4 out of 5
While tendering is a pain in general. The process here was quick and easy. Head to Spotts beach for a quiet location and an opportunity to swim with turtles.

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
We have visited before. Still plenty to see and explore. No formal excursion. We look forward to coming back.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
A little slow to clear customs. But this is expected and no different than other ports we’ve sailed from.
