Review summary

I was really afraid going on this ship it being our first cruise and seeing a few negative reviews. I quickly found out that those were people who just wanted to find something negative. We had an absolute blast! I would go on this ship 1000000 more times. I loved every part of it! Please dont let the few negative Nancy's give you a bad impression of this ship.

Food and Dining

I was never disappointed. The dining room food was always amazing. I could always find something I liked on lido. Guys burgers were awesome. The Dr Seuss breakfast was a blast.

Onboard Activities

We played clue which was a blast. We did bingo. The pool was nice it was really hot so alot of people were always in it. I found other things i would rather do. We always had something to do!

Entertainment

The comedy shows are a must see. Johnny Millwater and Rich Purpura are 2 wonderful comedians. Hasbro game show was cute. Most of the musicians were very enjoyable. The entertainment staff are amazing. Shout out to Lotty, Texas Ty, and DJ Joolez! Amazing staff that made this trip so enjoyable.

Service and Staff

The staff were always working! You never saw anyone standing around. They were always cleaning or even just interacting with everyone they passed. Leon our cruise director was amazing. We always had a smile and kind words to say and made sure everyone was having fun!

Ship Quality

It took us about a day to really figure out the ship which wasnt bad! The ship was always clean!

Cabin / Stateroom

I really enjoyed this room! The bed was so comfy I slept like a rock. Had plenty of storage for clothes and toiletries. Plug ins on the head board and beside the bed. We never had to pull out the extension cord. Bathroom was small but had all we needed.

Ship tip

Do some of the ships activities. We did the make it with Michaels and some of the Hasbro games they do thru out the cruise. It may only last 30 minutes or an hour but they are really fun!

Ports of call

George Town, Grand Cayman

We had a blast here. If you can afford to do the Sea Trek, DO IT. It was simply amazing. You get to go 30 feet down in the water with a helmet that pumps oxygen from the surface. Walk on the bottom of the ocean and the instructors were wonderful! Shopping was also fun. However I did not enjoy the jewelry stores. Way too pushy anf unrealistic pricing.

Cozumel, Mexico

Cozumel was beautiful! We decided to do a day pass at Del Mar Latino Beach Club. Best decision we made! All you can eat and drink, yes that includes alcohol, a pool, sand and beach chairs, a nice little coral reef to snorkel in. You can rent snorkel gear next door for $10. You can come and go as you please. We went straight there. Drank some played in the ocean then walked and shopped and came back and ended the day! $30 per person you can't beat that!

We were hesitant before we first sailed on her too. We had so much fun we're boarding her again next month. To each their own I guess.

Great review. I'll be cruising Carnival for the first time this Saturday on this ship. I've been on this size ship before and it's not bad. I wanted to do a larger ship this time, but originally booked to go to Cuba and the size of the ship wasn't a big deal. When the itinerary changed, I thought about changing, but changed my mind. I'm on vacation, away from work, visiting 2 ports I've never been to with lots of fun to be had all around. I'm going to have a good time. Now I just need to get through these 4 work days.

I’ve noticed on all the negative reviews that it’s usually someone saying they have been on dozens of cruises and when you look at the profile it shows only or maybe two cruises, or some have no cruise at all!!!
