It just felt like this cruise was thrown together at the last minute. I have been on about 7 cruises all of them with Carnival and this is by far the worse ever.

This is an older ship with a short itinerary marketed as an entry-level cruise for first time cruisers. A longer itinerary on a newer ship will give you a better experience. In other words, you get what you pay for.
